Reserved Room Block

We reserved a block of rooms at Radisson Hotel & Suites Downtown Austin located at 111 E Cesar Chavez and Congress Avenue | Austin TX 78701. It’s a GREAT location for fun before and after the wedding – walking distance from the famously fun 6th Street, Rainey Street food and bars, Town Lake, etc. We also got a great rate for Downtown Austin – $155 per night. This venue, however, is about 20 minutes from our venue.

Radisson

There are two ways to make reservations: call in to the toll free national reservations center at 800-333-3333 or reservations can be made online. Both places have our group listed as the “Ta / Hooks Room Block.”

Additional Hotel Options

These are hotels in the Oak Hill area … maybe 12-15min from the venue, but just south of downtown and lots of conveniences close:

1. Hampton Inn Oak Hill – closest option here, really nice and new, but a little pricey ($160ish)
2. Extended Stay Southwest – good location, reviews, and best price in the area (just under $100)
3. La Quinta Inn + Suites Southwest + Mopac – also good price, but tricky to get to

 

These hotels are great because they are close to the airport, and really close to downtown without being in downtown. They are about 20-25min from the venue, but its a straight shot from the highway.
