GLENN Roberts

Best Man

I’ve known Glenn my whole life…post UT that is. That’s pretty much 10 years of restaurant-hopping, Longhorn football loving, beer/shake drinking, endless adventures. Our friendship was cemented through a mutual love of food and stream of consciousness silliness. Whether he was a ten minute drive or a six hour flight away, he’s always been there if I needed someone to talk to. Glenn has been there for me through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Including that one time we decided it was a good idea to go four-wheeling in a rented Tahoe up a single-track trail in Colorado. Even now that he lives in South Dallas (just kidding Glenn), we still get together almost weekly. I couldn’t ask for a better best man. Glenn not only helped me pick a ring for Thy but can also be seen handing me the ring (in my story) as I was about to propose. WG (inside joke).

JAY Brock

I met Jay around the same time I met Glenn. Jay is one of those friends that even if time passes between hanging out, things pick up right where they left off. Jay has always been willing to help whether it was to lend an ear, babysit Jaws, or even picking up a shovel and helping complete a yard project in the dead of Texas summer. Always on time, generous, and caring – he’s a perfect example of what a friend should be.

JOHN Hooks

While growing up we probably fought as much as any brothers six years apart should but I always knew my big brother had my back if push came to shove. No one but my brother can lay claim to holding newborn (I claim I was hatched but Ma says otherwise) Matt on the car ride home from the hospital. He taught me how to rock knee-high striped socks, become a fan of Jean-Claude Van Damme movies, and trained me for my first 5K like Mick trained Rocky. When I take on a challenge, I have my brother in my ear telling me “No matter what Matt, don’t stop. Just keeping going.”

Bob

BOB Kehoe

Bob is someone I didn’t expect to meet. He’s a former college football star from the mean streets of Chicago. He’s also one of the smartest businessmen I know. His competitiveness and will to win and his ability to push everyone around him to step up their game makes him and everyone around him better. Two years ago he gave me the opportunity to partner with him in business and over this time we’ve built a sometimes strange but terrific friendship.
